The Tour of Sufferlandria - a fundraiser

keenjogging.substack.com

I'm riding The Wahooligan Tour this week in my shed. It used to be called the Tour of Sufferlandria (yeah I prefer the old name). A week long indoor cycling event, where we ride some of the toughest offerings in Wahoo’s indoor cycling workout library. Mostly Sufferfest videos with a few other recent offerings, with names like Revolver, Attacker and Rabbit Mountain… 😬 I’m two days in now and the legs are starting to feel it already… 😰

Anyway, onto the bit that might be of interest to you - I’m auctioning off a few of my original artworks! 👀

Wahoo partner with the Davis Phinney Foundation, a US charity helping people with Parkinsons live well, and we are fundraising to help them do that. Until the tour ends next weekend, you can place a bid on any of the artworks below, and the final winning bid will be a donation to my fundraising page here, plus P&P depending where you are in the world.

The artworks will come unframed in a cardboard tube, and the sizing is shown below for each piece.

If you’d like to bid on any of these, just reply to this email or drop me a message by clicking this link if you’re reading this on the website. Also, if you’d just like to donate without bidding on any artworks, that’s totally fine too, and of course would be much appreciated. You can do that via this link.

First up, for the Zwift fans - a new map of Watopia. Hand drawn in ink on A3 khadi paper. The current highest bid for this piece is £50.

Next, another piece hand drawn in ink on A3 khadi paper - Richmond Hill. The highest bid on this one is currently £100.

The following ones are awaiting their first bid, so come in with however much you’d like to get the ball rolling with these. Here we have a hand drawn illustration of Greg’s Hut, a beautiful old bothy on the Pennine Way. This one is on Hahnemühle Britannia 50x20cm paper:

And another on Hahnemühle Britannia 50x20cm paper, The North Downs, a contour map of Box Hill in Surrey.

And finally, a couple of illustrated runners, each on 30x40cm Hahnemühle Britannia paper:

Any questions, let me know at owen@owendelaney.art

Happy bidding, and happy running or cycling or whatever you get up to.

This is me for the week…

🚴‍♂️
